In life, everybody is moving but unfortunately not all are making progress. This is because movement does not equal progress, effort does not equal effect! What many are simply doing is moving round the circle for years without progressing. Every child of God is programmed for progress but not every believer ends being progressive. Find out why and how to be progressive as you go through the pages of this book dogmatically. I know you are set for progress that is why you are holding this book in your hand, so read on.
Hyacinth Morgan is a woman I read about sometimes ago whose story of progress has greatly inspired me. Hyacinth went to America at the age of twenty with a sixth-grade education. Her English was poor, but her desire to succeed was great. She started working as a housekeeper and began improving her English. After five years of working she saved enough money to go back and get her two children, whom she had left with her mother back on her small native island. When she returned to her country to get her kids, she had to pay back taxes, which depleted her savings. She worked another three years, saved, and brought her kids back to America. She began working again as a domestic servant, and did that for five years at the same time studying. She finally earned her diploma and enrolled in a local community college with the dream of becoming a doctor, but she was told that it was impossible because of her limited educational background. But again, her desire to succeed was great. She earned straight A’s and was eager to go to a school with a Pre-Med programme. But she was rejected by every school in the country because she was too old, now well past forty. But Hyacinth did not give up. She kept pushing until finally the people at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore saw her grades and heard her story and accepted her into their Pre-Med programme on a full scholarship. Friends, this is a true story of determination and inspiration that proves that if you can dream it, you can do it. A dream mixed with faith, confidence, determination and persistence cannot be denied progress!
You also can make progress no matter what your story looks like now, no matter what level you are now, no matter your background, you can break even, destroy stagnation and go forward!
As you go through the pages of this book, and diligently act on what you read, stagnation will be destroyed and your destiny shall be redefined in Jesus name!
